Our Ethos
When Sam & Marina got engaged, little did they know they’d soon be following very different career paths. Sam has a degree in Philosophy and a background in publishing, whilst Marina has a degree in Business & Marketing and a background in catering. But when they began planning their wedding they fell in love with the task and soon, Absolute Perfection was born!
The foundations were laid during the dark winter months of 2004. At the time they were holding down separate jobs, setting up a new business and planning their own wedding, all at the same time!

CONCEPTION: DESIGN
A consultation is the first step, either at your home, at our offices, online or at a convenient bar or hotel. It’s to get to know you; to find out what makes you both tick and discover your aims and objectives for the Big Day. It’s also a great opportunity for you to pick our brains and get answers to any questions you might have about your wedding or the wedding planning process.
One of our key objectives will be to focus on your wedding practicalities, identifying any potential problem areas and provide workable solutions. We will also present a variety of creative and innovative ideas and concepts to elevate the wedding day aesthetics, entice the senses and amplify your guest’s experience.
At the end of the meeting we will have an outline of a blueprint for your wedding and a plan of action on how to bring the designs, concepts and ideas vividly to life.
IMPLEMENTATION: PLANNING
Be assured that the Design element doesn’t stop when we move to the Planning Stage. In fact, it never stops, even on the wedding day itself because the difference between a good wedding and a truly great wedding is a relentless attention to all the finer details. We appreciate that your priorities and requirements may change as your knowledge and understanding of the wedding planning process develops. The plan of action is therefore always a fluid ‘work in progress’ that develops over time.
Although we have close working relationships with many of the UK’s best venues and suppliers, we are totally independent and offer unfettered access to every suitable, identifiable venue, service or supplier here in the UK or overseas. During the Planning Stage we will draw up a shortlist of the best venues and suppliers that match your requirements. We will then arrange for you to meet with your chosen few, with us in attendance if you so desire. Upon selection, we will manage all your suppliers throughout your engagement, organising all appointments, viewings and meetings; negotiating contract terms and providing practical, realistic solutions and directions for any potential issues that may arise.
Be assured, we can take care of any wedding related issue that you need help with, no matter how minor, obscure or complicated it might seem to be. Indeed this could even be organising bridal party attire; chasing late RSVP’s; advising on wedding etiquette, security or managing difficult family members; managing guest travel arrangements, organising hen/stag weekends, the honeymoon or even pre-nuptial agreements!

After identifying the best venues and suppliers that match your vision and expectations, we carefully review each one to ensure suitability and availability, before presenting you with a recommended shortlist for your review.. Appointments are then arranged, with us in attendance if you so desire.
Upon selection, we will operate as first point of contact and manage all your suppliers throughout your engagement, organising appointments, viewings and meetings; negotiating contract terms and providing effective solutions should any potential issues arise.
Be assured, we will take care of any wedding related issue that you need help with, no matter how minor, obscure or complicated it might appear to be. From dealing with stubborn, difficult or unresponsive suppliers to managing awkward family members and friends; or overcoming logistical nightmares; or taking care of complicated guest travel arrangements; or chasing late RSVP’s; or taking care of difficult legal matters; or ensuring correct protocol and etiquette are followed!
